About OpenPixel Map
An open, community-built map of the public services people in Bangladesh need every day — and can rarely find.
What we do
OpenPixel Map is a crowdsourced platform built on OpenStreetMap. Anyone can add a place — a public toilet, a safe drinking-water point, a step-free access route — with its exact location and a verification photo. A moderator reviews each submission before it goes live, so the map stays trustworthy. Once approved, the data is open and free for anyone to use, and contributes back to OpenStreetMap.
Why it matters
Reliable information about public facilities is scattered, outdated, or locked inside apps that don't share their data. We're building the opposite: an open, verified, always-improving map maintained by the people who actually use these places.
