We collect the minimum needed to run a trustworthy community map, and we delete what we don't need.

Information we collect

When you create an account we collect your name, address, and email. When you contribute a place we collect its location, the attributes you enter, and a verification photo. We may collect basic technical logs to keep the service secure.

How we use it

To publish verified places on the map, to credit and reward contributors with points and badges, to moderate for quality and safety, and to communicate with you when needed.

Verification photos

Verification photos are stored privately, shown only to moderators, and deleted automatically when a submission is reviewed. We do not publish them.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Approved place data is public and open (ODbL). We disclose personal data only when required by a valid legal process — see our law-enforcement guidelines.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account data at any time via contact.

Cookies & storage

We use local browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
